Following the success of our recent residential development, 24 Connaught Road - we sat down with the team to discuss all things interior design...
Q: What was your inspiration for 24 Connaught Road?
A: My Inspiration came from the period of the property, I felt it was important to stick with traditional style throughout.
Q: How far in advance do you start planning an interior design?
A: I started the design brief back in January, so not far off 12 months.
Q: What was your favourite room to style?
A: The living area, especially in the apartments that benefit from large bay windows.
Q: How long did the project take?
A: 6 months from the construction side of things.
Q: Were there any challenges? If so, how did you overcome them?
A: Covid-19 was a huge challenge, generally because of the lead time on supplies being changed. It is something you had accept and try your best to push each day, if you cant change something, then there is point in worrying.
Q: Where do you get style inspiration from?
A: This
could be from anywhere, I’m always taking pictures when I’m out and about, equally if I
see things I love online, I always save it. If it makes me look twice, I’ll
snap it.
